Steve believes strongly in patients participating actively in their rehabilitation and taking responsibility for their own health. He looks forward to working with patients to help achieve their short and long term goals.
2003 | Bachelor of Science in Physical Education: Option in Athletic Training from Keene State College in Keene, New Hampshire |
2004 – Present | Certified with the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) as a Certified Athletic Trainer or ATC. |
2005 – Present | Steve has worked as an Athletic Therapist / Trainer in a variety of settings, including Collegiate, Industrial, Clinical, as well as in a Hospital / High School as an outreach Athletic Trainer |
2006 | Master of Science in Health and Human Performance from Canisius College in Buffalo, New York |
2007 – Present | Certified with the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) as a certified strength and conditioning coach or CSCS. |
2009 – Present | Certified with the Canadian Athletic Therapists Association (CATA) as a Certified Athletic Therapist or CAT(C). |
2014 – Present | Shift Concussion Trained and Level 1 Provider |
Past/ Present Continuing Education in the Areas of – McKenzie diagnosis and therapy of the spine (MDT Part A), ImPACT/ Shift concussion management, evaluation and treatment, evidence based orthopedic assessment and treatment, evidence based clinical exercise prescription, ergonomics, physical demands analysis, functional capacity evaluation and BTE Primus RS training.
